The difference a year can make. Watching my littles grow to be best friends over the past year has brought me more joy than I can describe.
I love a good family session in the country! You can almost always count on some dust in the air, flowers in your hair…and grass in your mouth! Awww yeah.

PINIMAGEPINIMAGEIt was a beautiful late afternoon session and baby Mari was awake for most of it. I rarely shoot sleeping newborns. I’m not sure how or why this happens, but I just roll with it. I actually love when their eyes are open. I don’t wait around for the sleeper so we can do squishy sleepy poses. If it happens, cool. If it doesn’t, cool. Either way, the beauty and sweetness is captured and that’s all that matters to me!
